Trainee - Software Engineer

Thinkitive is offering a Trainee Software Engineer role for freshers to join their development team and gain hands-on experience in software development. The role focuses on building a strong foundation in programming, working on real-world projects, and learning under the guidance of senior developers. Candidates will be involved in coding, testing, debugging, and improving applications while developing problem-solving abilities and adapting to modern technologies in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior developers to design and develop software solutions
• Write clean, efficient, and well-structured code following coding standards
• Test, debug, and ensure quality and performance of applications
• Work on defect fixing and performance optimization
• Contribute to development tasks and support the software development lifecycle

Requirements

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Good understanding of OOPs and Data Structures
• Knowledge of programming fundamentals like C, C++ and OOP concepts
• Basic front-end knowledge: HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Familiarity with databases: SQL / NoSQL
• Strong problem-solving skills and quick learning ability
• Knowledge of logical and designing concepts
• Understanding of front-end frameworks like Bootstrap/Foundation (good to have)
• Ability to handle defect fixing and performance optimization
• Educational Qualification: BE/BTech/ME/MTech/BCA/MCA in CS/IT/Electronics or related fields
• Flexibility to work on technologies like .NET or PHP as per training requirements
